QLD Fresh Science in the pub
Join us for QLD Fresh Science at Griffith University’s Nathan campus on Wednesday 20 October.
These up-and-coming scientists will describe their scientific discoveries in under 1 minute.
Who will you choose as the People’s Choice winner for 2021? Will the people agree with the judges?
The event is free but bookings are essential. It’s a COVID-safe event, and we have contingency plans… A cash bar (card accepted) will be available for beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks, and light food will be provided.
WHEN: Wednesday 20 October 2021. Doors open 6:30pm for a 7pm start.

On a the night of Wednesday 20 October a crowd of science enthusiasts will gather at Building N79 – Engineering, Technology and Aviation, Room 1.05 (right by the door), Griffith University 7-8:30pm to see Queensland’s Fresh Scientists present.
In the past we’ve heard about smart bandages, the sawfish saw, printable solar cells, wallabies’ immune tricks, ocean arteries, backward planets and more.
2021’s Fresh Scientists will reveal their discoveries using rhyme, reason and the odd firework.
